At their regular meeting of June 2, 2009, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2009 - 89, proclaiming support for Urban Environmental Accords and United States Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement.
A signing ceremony was held on July 13, 2009, where members of the public joined members of the City Council, in witnessing the signing of the Accords and Agreement.
